I love the sound of the phospho-bronze strings I like to buy them in multiple sets so I dont have to go without if strings break. I like medium gauge strings but everyones preference is different.
These classical strings give a nice rich sound and are very durable. Perfect for beginners and intermediate players alike.
I have played with pretty much every string on the market, but I always come back to my Slinky’s and Super Slinky’s. I like the feel and the sound. Again play what feels right for you but these strings are awesome.

Bass is about big sound tinny bass is just loud and annoying. there are several styles that call for light strings but the sound is processed. Medium-regular gauge gives you the crisp highs and low lows. 45-50 on the G.

Drum Accessories
There are so many factors when considering what type of sticks to buy it comes down to what you like. I like the Vic Firth American Classics 5a with nylon tips. Start cheap and work your way up, buy several pair because they do break and they do get mangled. I will put some of my suggestions in the boxes below.
These are inexpensive and great for beginners.
My favorite they have a great weight and feel and can take a lot of punishment. I like the nylon tips because they are less likely to chip and damage my heads.
I cant tell you how many times I have left, lost or damaged sticks and I have found that it is much easier to keep track and protect my sticks as well as carry, mallets, brushes, and other tools with me.
