Buzz Roll
This is a difficult rudiment to master, the buzz roll is generally played on the snare using the buzz from the snare to continue the roll. This rudiment is best known and used most often in the drum line of the marching band. Allowing the stick to bounce multiple times per stroke creates the buzzing sound. Practice this starting slowly and gradually go faster until all of the stutters are removed.
Triple Stroke Roll
Triple stroke roll can be both open and closed roll, as you get faster it will naturally change to a closed roll to maintain the triplet. Practice with alternating starting hand all while maintaining the triplet feel and not changing to a double feel.
